The famous Gran Compe hubs are now available in a limited edition 24 hole black version. The spoke holes are CNC machined to a’keyhole’ shape, to allow the easy installation of flat blade spokes. Of course you can also use normal straight or double butted spokes. The bearings are sealed cartridge bearing, and the rear accepts either a track/fixed gear cog and lockring, or alternatively you can fit a single speed freewheels like a Shimano MX30. The shaft thickness is 10mm standard track on the rear, and 9mm standard on the front. The front fork of your bike should have a regular 100mm spacing, and the rear of your frame should be 120mm or 123mm. If you have a 110mm spaced Japanese NJS frame, please send us a question regarding converting these hubs to 100/8mm front, 110/8mm rear.
