Custom 8 Piece BLUE Anodized Titanium Torx Screw & Blade Stop Pin Set Designed to fit Spyderco Para 3 (PM3) Series Knives. The factory standard torx screws and Blade Stop Pin are not titanium. Upgrade the standard torx screws and pin, to a set of rust proof Custom Titanium versions anodized in BLUE. This Custom Titanium Set is a direct replacement for the Spyderco Para 3 PM3 Series knives. These custom parts are not designed to fit Cloned or Fake Spyderco knives. Please note: No knives pictured are for sale. What is included in this sale is only the 8 piece custom set designed to fit the original Spyderco Para 3 knife. Consisting of only 8 x BLUE Anodized parts in total. This 8 Piece set includes the following titanium parts: 2 x T10 Torx BLUE Custom Titanium Pivot Screws 2 x T8 Torx BLUE Custom Titanium Body Screws 3 x T6 Torx BLUE Custom Titanium Pocket Clip Screws 1 x Custom BLUE Titanium Blade Stop Pin. Design Notes on the Custom Blade Stop Pin. I have designed this Titanium Blade Stop Pin to sit flush against the G10 Scales. The original Blade Stop Pin is rounded at the end. Making it more prone to scratching. My version fits flush with the G10 scales just like the Torx screws and will look much better from the side view. THEN DECIDED TO RE-DESIGN THE SET AGAIN TO BE STRONGER. POCKET CLIP SCREWS ARE NOW UPGRADED AND NOW STRONGER!! Many wasted parts, lots of wasted tooling, much headaches. These custom Spyderco parts have taken around 7 Generations and at least 4 years to get it to this stage. JULY 2018 UPDATE: WAS OUT OF STOCK DUE TO BEING RE-DESIGNED. PIVOT SCREWS ARE NOW STRONGER!! These custom Spyderco parts have taken around 6 Generations and at least 3+ years to get it to this stage. Please note: These custom screws were extremely hard to make. It took many production runs and a very long time to get it to this stage. This is as good as I can get it, as it is very hard to hold when machining because of the thin angled edge on the countersunk screw head. Please be aware that the screw’s head may stick out from the scale by a very, very tiny little amount. The G10 scale can be possibly countersunk a little be more to fix this. However by purchasing this set you are aware of this. (2018 UPDATE = NOW FIXED). 2018 UPDATE: These are now perfect!!! It has taken around 5 Generations and at least 3 years to get it to this stage. 2017 UPDATE: These screws were machined to fit perfectly with every allowable tolerance however it was a bit too thin and caused it to break when torqued down hard. Had to scrap them and re-design. 2016 UPDATE: The scale screw’s Torx drive head wasn’t machined well. Which was very hard to do on such a small thin countersunk head = looked crap. 2015 UPDATE: So many trial runs and bad batches. Many issues to sort out. 2014 UPDATE: Too many issues to list and remember. The Para 3 knife can be quite tricky to take apart and put together compared to other knives. The original Para 3 screws can be quite hard to remove. Please watch some youtube videos beforehand to see how it is done. The factory loctite thread glue can make the screws hard to get out too causing the Torx head to strip. Before installation of these titanium screws. Please clean and remove all existing factory loctite glue. Also use some Good strong quality Torx tools to (Such as Wiha Torx tools). Slight color and machining variations may also occur between batches. Custom colors can be requested. Other colors such as: purple , yellow , Copper , maroon , raw titanium , light blue , brass , dark blue , bronze , gold etc. Once you have received a colored titanium item. It may appear to have lost color once touched, this is just the oil from your hands. If the oil been cleaned off the color will come back. See cleaning tip below.
