This Rare New NAPA Design Scotty Cameron Titleist Tour Proto Platinum putter from 1997/100 sets, featuring a silver carbon steel head with a blade design. This premium collectible tour club is designed for right-handed golfers and comes with stiff steel shafts and a standard lie angle. The putter is part of the Tour Proto Platinum models, made in the United States, and includes original headcover for protection and preservation. This Putter will be a valuable addition for any golf enthusiast looking for high-quality and unique golf clubs to play or collect. Material: The head of the putter is made from soft and responsive performance carbon steel that tour players prefer. Most of the putters Scotty Cameron produced for retail from 1995 to 2008 were made from this material. Finish: The putter features a specific “Tour Pro Platinum” (or simply “Platinum”) finish. This is a silver-colored finish. Headcover: Each putter in the set originally came with a matching “NASA” headcover, known for its resemblance to a space suit. Limited Edition: Only 100 sets were produced in 1997, with each set containing eight different models (Newport, Newport 2, Santa Fe, Catalina, Sonoma, Coronado, Napa, and Laguna). Many of the original 800 putters were put into play, making it increasingly difficult to find any of these Putter designs in new, unused condition.
