TaylorMade Tour Set Forged Firesole Irons. Miura Forged (same as X-300 FCI 3-PW). See photos in close up as they are part of the description. Very Rare PGA Tour or Japan Tour set of Taylormade Forged Firesole Irons. These are renowned for their buttery soft feel. Played by tour players Ernie Els, Justin Rose, R. F Goosen and Tom Lehman and others. These irons were forged by MIURA Golf Company in Japan. They are the same as the later produced Taylormade X-300 FCI Irons. Not at all the same Firesole Irons released to the USA public in 1999. That said this is a custom made set, most likely made for a tour player. The shafts are Royal Precision Stepless shafts with no shaft bands marking the stiffness. There are a couple of the shafts that still retain the small “Precision USA” ink label on them, They are stiff but I do not know how stiff. The 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, W have Lamkin Crossline mid-size grips. The 3 & 4 irons have Golf Pride Tour Velvet mid-size grips and the grip is not installed on 3 iron. Please see other listings as I will be listing my clubs and accessories from years of playing.
