Blade Set New

Limited and Rare Macgregor Jack Nicklaus JNP “Short Blade” Iron Set 1-PW. Never used on for a round of golf just on artificial turf range with tape on heads. These are all in original condition – no chrome loss, cracking or peeling anywhere. Also there are no serial #s stamped on the ferrules. The 5-iron measures 38″ – shafts are dynamic golf S400 – note 1st step is 8.75″ from the top. Loft and Lie are standard. Why is this set of JNPs so rare? This set features the “Short Blade” profile the Mr. Nicklaus prefers which means they are shorter from heel to toe than the longer JNP Retail version and does not have the 2 or 3 hosel rings stamped into them behind the ferrules. It is my understanding that these heads became the basis for the VIP CB92 iron once Mr. Nicklaus parted with Macgregor to start his own golf equipment company.
