Blade Set New

Brand new unused Woodpeckers Flat Top Dado Blade set with 6-piece set of magnetic shims in original box. Flat ground teeth on all the blades avoids the “bat ears” seen on traditional beveled tooth blades, perfect for exposed rabbets, dadoes, grooves and box joints. Please note that all blades have been kept in their original packaging with the factory applied anti-corrosion coating, and should be cleaned prior to use. Total of 6 blades. Left and right outer blades each have 24 flat ground teeth of 1/8 width set at a 5-degree negative hook angle for very clean cutting. All 4 chippers have solid plates with 12 flat ground teeth (instead of the usual 2 or 4 teeth) set at a 5-degree positive hook. Chippers include two 1/8″ wide blades, one 1/4″ wide blade and one 1/16 wide blade. Solid plate blade design increases rigidity of the dado stack and allows it to run quieter than sets with traditional winged chippers. With 12 teeth, chippers cut more smoothly and are easier to stagger properly with each other and the outer blades than 2- or 4-tooth designs. The 1/4″ chipper takes the place of two 1/8″ blades found in other sets so you will need less stacking and aligning of blades against each other to get to your needed cut width. Set of 6 magnetic shims stay in place and won’t get caught in arbor threads and allow for fine tuning of dado stack width.
