Spec Bridgestone Tour Stage MR 23 Irons, Right Handed Dynamic Gold S400 Extra Stiff Shafts. This was one of the fewer than 500 sets Bridgestone Built exclusively for tour players. At the time Bridgestone was trying to expand into the American P. Market, and these sets were given exclusively to tour professionals in an attempt to grow the brand. This particular set was built for a P. Commentator who was interested in the clubs Shigeki Maruyama won 4 tournaments with. Shigeki Maruyama’s personal Bridgestone representative built this set with the same clubheads and shafts Shigeki used on the U. This set was literally selected and built from the same lots of clubs that comprised Shigeki’s private stock! When this set was delivered to the interested party the Bridgestone rep was informed that the commentator had signed an exclusive deal with Calloway and was contractually obligated to play Calloway products exclusively. This set of irons has never been used. They have been stored in pristine condition for over 22 years now, never once having struck a golf ball!
